Counting On Jinger Duggar Debuts New Shorter Haircut And Shares Sexy, Secular Playlist Ahead Of

First, she started wearing pants, short skirts, sleeveless shirts, and heels. Now, Counting On star Jinger Duggar is rebelling against her uber-conservative upbringing once again with a short new haircut and a sexy, secular Valentine’s Day playlist.

Duggar debuted her new hair this week in an Instagram post. She chopped off her long hair – which is the signature style of Duggar women – and opted for a shoulder-length style. She’s also keeping the lighter, blonde color now that she’s a California girl, living in Los Angeles with her husband Jeremy Vuolo and her one-year-old daughter Felicity.

“As Valentine’s Day slowly approaches, I thought it would be nice to go for a new hairdo!” Duggar wrote in the caption.

The 26-year-old has been proudly showing off her new life in California after she moved to LA with her family last summer. Jinger and Felicity have been exploring their new surroundings, and the young mom has been posting pics of their adventures, which usually includes a delicious meal at one of LA’s eateries.

Felicity has also started walking, and Jinger is cherishing every moment. She recently posted a video of Felicity running ahead of everyone else during their afternoon walk, and Jinger wrote in the caption that she often wishes her daughter could stay this little forever.

Jinger has also been showing off her trendy style that’s a far cry from the ankle-length skirts and dresses she wore when growing up with her 18 siblings in Arkansas. As fans know, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have a strict, extremely modest dress code for their children, and they also don’t allow their kids to have access to secular music, TV, and movies.

But, all of that’s changed for Jinger now that she is a married woman, and she is sharing her love of secular music with her new Valentine’s Day playlist on Spotify. Her picks included songs from Pearl Jam, Regina Spektor, Ben Folds, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, and Coldplay.

Fans were surprised by the playlist, with one writing that they thought the Duggar family only listened to Christian music and hymns. Another fan added that they hope Jinger’s parents didn’t disown her for the playlist, like they did with her sister Jill.

In their book Growing Up Duggar, Jinger and her sisters explained that their parents taught them that Christians often accept music that promotes the things that God hates.

“For instance, if a song’s lyrics are saying, ‘Follow your heart. Do what feels good,’ we compare it to the Bible and find that God says, ‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked,’” wrote Jinger Duggar and her sisters.
